摘要：
景观生态学作为一个研究领域，自从卡尔·特罗尔在1939年创造了这个术语以来，已经发生了深刻的演变。快速的变化和进步始于20世纪70年代末和80年代初。该领域历史上最具影响力的里程碑之一是1987年国际景观生态学协会的旗舰期刊的成立。在过去的35年里，《景观生态学》杂志持续快速增长，每年发表的文章数量从20世纪80年代末的不足20篇增加到现在的200多篇。与此同时，景观生态学领域在理论、方法和应用方面都取得了长足的进步。本报告将以该期刊为晴雨表，探讨景观生态学和景观可持续性科学中不断发展和新兴的研究主题、趋势和前景。
Landscape ecology as a field of study has evolved profoundly since Carl Troll coined the term in 1939. Rapid changes and advances started in the late 1970s and early 1980s. One of the most impactful milestones in the history of the field has been the establishment of the flagship journal of the International Association for Landscape Ecology in 1987. During the past 35 years, the journal, Landscape Ecology, has continued to grow rapidly, with the number of articles published per year increasing from fewer than 20 in the late 1980s to more than 200 now. During the same time period, the field of landscape ecology has made great strides in theory, methodology, and applications. Using the journal as a barometer, here I will discuss the evolving and emerging research themes, trends, and prospects of landscape ecology and landscape sustainability science.

邬建国，博士，教授。现任美国亚利桑那州立大学生命科学学院与可持续科学学院特聘教授，北京师范大学人与环境系统可持续性科学研究中心创始主任。主要研究领域包括景观生态学、城市生态学、生物多样性与生态系统功能和可持续性科学，发表论⽂350多篇，著作15部，是全球高被引科学家。现任国际著名期刊《Landscape Ecology》主编，兼任多个国内国际期刊编委。1997年获中国基金委海外杰出青年称号，曾任美国⽣态学会亚洲分会主席（1999-2000），IGBP研究计GCTE项目Task2.1.4研究组负责⼈（1997-2002），美国景观⽣态学会学术年会主席（2001），美国景观⽣态学会常务理事（2001－2004），美国环境保护部⽣态学项目科学顾问（2004-2005）。2006年获美国科学促进会(AAAS)“杰出国际合作奖”；2007年当选为美国科学促进会会⼠（AAAS Fellow）；2009年当选Leopold Leadership Fellow；2010年获美国景观⽣态学会“杰出景观⽣态学家奖”；2011年获国际景观⽣态学会“杰出科学成就奖”；2012年获美国景观⽣态学会“杰出服务奖”；2016年获亚利桑那州⽴⼤学20年优秀服务奖。2019年当选美国生态学会会士。
Wu Jianguo, PhD, Professor. Dean’s Distinguished Professor of Sustainability Science, School of Life Sciences & School of Sustainability, Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, USA. B.S. (1982) in biology from Inner Mongolia University and M.S. (1987) and Ph.D. (1991) in ecology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA. National Science Foundation (NSF) postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University (1991-1992) and Princeton University (1992-1993). Current research areas: landscape ecology, urban ecology, and sustainability science. Authored 15 books and about 350 journal articles and book chapters. Editor-in-Chief of Landscape Ecology since 2005, and Editorial Board member for several international journals on ecology and interdisciplinary research. Other professional services: Chair of Asian Ecology Section of Ecological Society of America (1999-2000); Program Chair of the US Association for Landscape Ecology (US-IALE) in 2001; Councilor-at-Large of US-IALE (2001-2003); Founding Director of Sino-US Center of Conservation, Energy and Sustainability Science (2007-); Founding Director of Center for Human-Environment System Sustainability (CHESS), Beijing Normal University (2012-). Major awards and honors: American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Award for International Scientific Cooperation (2006); Elected AAAS Fellow (2007); Leopold Leadership Fellow (2009); Distinguished Landscape Ecologist Award from United States Association for Landscape Ecology (2010); Served with Distinction as Editor-in-Chief of Landscape Ecology from the United States Association for Landscape Ecology (2010); Outstanding Scientific Achievements Award from International Association for Landscape Ecology (2011); Distinguished Service Award from the United States Association for Landscape Ecology (2012); Outstanding International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Award, The Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (2012); Employee Service Recognition, 20 Years of Valued Service, Arizona State University (2016); Elected Fellow of Ecological Society of America (2019).

风景园林大师讲坛是上海交通大学设计学院、上海市风景园林学会共同举办的高端学术讲座，邀请国内外具有重要影响力的风景园林领域领军学者、设计大师到交通大学开展讲座，探讨学术研究及实践前沿。本系列讲座对上海交通大学师生、上海市风景园林学会会员以及对风景园林学感兴趣的社会各界人士开放。旨在通过举办风景园林学高端讲座，促进国内外本学科前沿理念的交流与碰撞，搭建大师与从业者之间进行近距离对话的桥梁，联合高校、专业学会、业界力量，共同推动风景园林学科发展。
LA talk is a high-end academic lecture jointly held by the School of Design of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai society of Landscape Architecture. Leading scholars and design masters in the field of landscape architecture with important influence at home and abroad are invited to give lectures in Shanghai Jiao Tong University to discuss academic research and practice frontier. This series of lectures is open to teachers and students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, members of landscape architecture Society, and people from all walks of life who are interested in landscape architecture. It aims to promote the exchange and collision of cutting-edge concepts of this discipline at home and abroad by holding high-end lectures on landscape architecture, build a bridge for close dialogue between masters and practitioners, and jointly promote the development of landscape architecture discipline with universities, professional societies and industry forces.
